Hand Embellished Photo on Vellum
The vellums in this section are archive prints of some of my photography. I print the photo image
reversed on the back of the vellum, then I emboss and apply archival ink
to the surface so each is always unique. I also suspend these with nickel plated
pins, and again, the technique adds interest as you approach the work.
Bougainvillea
Bougainvillea is a blooming vine of the tropics and
sub-tropics, I've isolated a single blossom of a large bush that may have
hundreds of blossoms. You'll notice that it's sort of a flower within a flower.
